5.2.3 and vBulletin Messenger for Cloud Customers?

Hi,

Is the new version 5.2.3 and the new features of Connect being loaded for cloud customers? We were emailed from support yesterday that an update is being loaded later today with no detail at all of what was actually being updated.

We are interested in knowing what is being done.

Yes Cloud sites will be upgraded to 5.2.3 which will include Messenger.

Remember once the upgrade is done, Messenger is turned off by default, you need to enable it in the Admin CP.

My cloud site's been done...very please with Messenger. It's a great new feature.

Is there a manual somewhere? User don't seem to notice they are receiving messages and need to go looking.

I like it already. Most people are not noticing me messaging them though. Is there supposed to be a pop-up. They don't get pop ups for PM's either. I have it set for pop-up on in the CP though?

User's can set their own preferences regarding the pop-up. When someone messages them, it should appear up in the 'Messages' section on the top bar.

The "Popup" is a holdover settings from vBulletin 4. There are no automatic PM popups in vBulletin 5 at this time. I am hoping the setting will be removed soon.
