one positive word for 5.1.7

Not very happy up to VB 5.1.6 - (had to fix important things myself).

Now with VB 5.1.7 i see that VB5 is going in the right direction. For me VB 5.1.7 ist the first release that is acceptable and it starts to have fun to work with. Important things are working well what making hope next Versions become better and better.

A big thumbs up for the developer team...

Well, i was coming from 3.8 - and it was quite horrible. I tried update hundred times up to found the best way. My blurb was more than three pages.
Since VB 5.1.5 and particularly with 5.1.6 it was ok.

Now in 5.1.7 there are still some (important) issues - but in my view no showstoppers

I agree with you guys. 5.1.7 is working pretty good. I have only minor errors left by now but they are nothing compared to the previous versions on VB5! Congrats to the developer.
