    Editing posts

    Hi,
i'm trying to play with vb5, and i want some clarifications about editing posts, don't konw if it's a bug or i'm missing something.

    1. when editing posts, i can't share photos, insert link or poll (for the first post) like it can be done with a new topic or a reply.
    2. about links in advanced mode, when i select a text and try to link it, i've something like (descriptionhttp://url.com ) and not (description).

    1) You would be editing the text of the post. It doesn't allow you to change content types.

    2) Should be listed as a bug. Shouldn't work any differently than it does now.

I cannot replicate this on Beta 21 with Opera. Going to Advanced tab, typing some text, highlighting it, pressing the link button, and then typing a URL....works just the same way it does on vB4 and posts correctly.

Have you tried our vB5 demo? www.vbulletin.com/vb5demo
Does the same thing happen on there?

Much as I like Opera, it's notoriously temperemental. In fact, sometimes that's what I like about it. It doesn't seem to behave exactly the same on any two machines.

Glad it's working ok for you anyhow.
