I can read the activity stream before the forums load, strange feature, not sure I like it.

This is how the browser is as well, the activity stream is the first to load.
I don't care for it either, but users have been talking about it for a while now.

THe activity stream shouldn't load first if its not the default. It has been fixed in b13 im 90% sure.

this is the reason that made vBulletin 5 need much more time to load is the script.
the script doesn't grab part of posts to show it in the activity stream, but the script grab the whole part of the posts to display it in the activity stream.
maybe it not a big deal if the post just contain text, but how if the post contain images, pictures? it takes a lot of time to load all the images & put it down to activity stream.
