vB3 to vB5 upgrade?

Has anybody tried a test upgrade from vB3 to vB5 yet? I assume you'd have to go through the upgrades through vB4, and then get to the vB5 beta? Just curious if everything gets transferred, and what doesn't.

I assume you'd lose things like reputation and infractions, plus.. ???

Nothing is explicitly lost when it comes to the default feature set or data.

It is kept, for example infractions and reputation.

You can upgrade directly.

I understand that URLs all change. What happens to URLs in posts? Does the converter also convert those posts to the new URL that is being created by VB5? I am guessing that posts are not touched so that the URLs will remain hard coded and require a redirect via a table kept to map old URLs.

Yes, all old urls will still function, but will be re-directed to the correct new url.
