My Live vB5 Site - NZEating.com

I voted "Yes", before I realized what was going on! My vote was based on the aspect that I would still have full clearance for vB4 updates, because I was told that in order to have any further updates to vB4 I had to purchase vB5! I was offered a $65 dollar discount as long as I did the update by 12/5/12, but that was not the case when I tried.
I want to retract my vote and change it to "No" because of the multiple mods that I currently have. I'm really a little confused on the whole aspect. My site is weeks away from going live, and to pay that kind of money for what the current demo looks like is crazy! I'm happy with vB4, and I may not upgrade to a product that I can not even use!Comment

Very definitely not, how anyone can seriously offer this garbage to the market is beyond me. vBulletin have lost the plot totally, there are so many platforms out there that really deliver, including free open source offerings, that they needed to produce something spectacular, that they have utterly failed to do. Have we seriously been waiting all this time for this?
Throw this in the bin and go on improving vB4 is the best thing you can do.Last edited by AdrianH; Thu 13 Sep '12, 1:30am.👍 1Comment

The costs for VB seems coming to some 100$ per Year, as of one need to upgade every 2 years paying 200$ for new version.Comment

There was a new poll but that one was closed in favor of this old before the pre alpha demo was released.
I wonder how many of these yes's or semi yeses want to change their vote now.Comment

by TLMDIt won't be too long until vB 5.1.0 is being released. No, there is no official release date available, but I am pretty sure it won't take six more months or something. Anyways, the release of vB 5.1.0..."Mass bug-fixing"50.00%19"Bug-fixing strictly based on votes"5.26%2"Feature-parity with vB4"39.47%15"Other" OR "Continue the way it was done in the past"5.26%2
