Move Back to VB 3.8 - possible?

I have read a lot of posts on Vbulletin version 5 and it seems most people are not having a good experience. Some have noted they stayed with version 3.8. Is it possible to go from 5.05 to version 3.8 - I am a new user and wondering about this.

You can install version 3.8 instead of higher versions or if you upgraded to 5 from 3.8 you can revert as long as you made a back up before upgrading (which you should do anyway) Otherwise to revert from a live vb 5 version without a backup I believe is technically possible by converting to free software and back again but is neither supported or recommended.

There is no supported way to downgrade, other than restoring a previous backup.

Surely you mean vB only goes backwards, and has since Internet Brands took it over.
