where is the navigation bar (page 1, 2, 3, etc.) at the bottom ?

    hello,

where is the navigation bar (page 1, 2, 3, etc.) at the bottom ? i see it only on the top of the page and this is a huge misc conception !
we read a page, arrive to the bottom, want to go next, and need to scroll back the page to the top to see the next page button !

also, more important, when i click on "page 2, 3, 4, etc.." the URL NOT CHANGE (look like the page is updated via ajax) ?
what is this true horror ? it's a STOP for SEO ! it's also remove lot of page view from stats and show much less adsense advertisement !

is their any "commander" to follow the vbulletin developpement ?

I see pagination. Maybe there is no pagination if there is only 1 page?

How about when there are a number of pages and you've read all but say the last few. You click on the link and it takes you to the first page (It can not determine if you have any read comments in said thread). You then have to scroll all the way to the bottom and click the last link. Then you realize you missed a bunch of posts so you try and go back a few pages. you can't because they don't list the first and last few pages.

I would like to know who designed this new navigation bar and why? I bet they never used forum software before.. but then again vB5 seems to have been managed by someone who never used forum software before..... what a mess

Ok, from your awesome screen shot I see what you mean and you are right, it isn't there and as you rightfully say, you have to scroll back to the top.

I think there are some improvements being made on this issue affecting the floating toolbar and incorporating better and effective navigation. I have seen the issue in JIRA. Possibly fixed in 5.0.4 http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-9807

I thought you refering to the thread view. Example here http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forum...f-the-customer

            Surely there is navigation there....

Currently, that is what the floaty bar is for.

ok, i see it now ! honestly it's a mistake ... i didn't notice it at all at the begining, the color of the floating bar make it like it is a "browser bar" and we didn't notice it !
make the test your self, ask 10 guy to scroll to the next page, you will see that all will scroll to top and will not notice the floaty bar !
