So I've just installed a test vB5 install, and it appears that paid subscription currency is still hard coded, which is pretty disappointing. Rather than a completely new system it just appears like the old one has been ported across with some cosmetic changes only.
I was hoping this was going to be in vB4, after finding out it wasn't, I started looking into it to see that you can actually manually change it pretty easily, but still, it's frustrating when there are only five currency options when all of the payment gateways support a lot more.
I've created an improvement request in JIRA, if you use a currency outside of the standard, or if you think it's a bit silly this isn't in there by default, please head over and give it a vote:http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-9482
