Why is it that a link to the tracker goes much quicker than a link to a thread?

Example: [URL="http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-4163"]http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-4163[/URL="http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-4163"]

And why is the link above repeated? This happened the last time I posted a link.

Because the tracker is a different software.

No it's a bug with URL BBCode.

I guess this bug has been recorded in a JIRA? I am guessing this, as normally we see a link to the JIRA itself.

JIRA is different software, different architecture (it is JAVA based) and a different server.

The difference is quite staggering but it has improved recently, not sure why that is but anyway, there is no turning back.
