    Mobile App for vBulletin 4.2.2

    Hi

After giving up on my apps last year due to so many problems with the App and them not working after they didn't meet the requirements i am trying this again.

    I have a few questions:

    1. is the current build of App working for Apple and if so what is the version number ?
Can I only submit a new iOS build via an Apple computer ?

    2. is the current build of App working on Android and if so what is the version number ?

Are there any know issues ?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. 1.9 is the current version. And yes, you can only sign it on an Apple computer.

    2. 1.9 is the current version.

There are known issues. They are listed in JIRA here:

      Thanks Wayne

I still have the same issue with Android app when I have upgraded it from version 1.8 to 1.9 I get the following error...

I have moved hosting to another new server and still same problem with this android app even though I have other forums with same app, server and forum version and they all work fine...

      What is wrong?

The screenshot wasn't really helpful and didn't provide any information that would help resolve your issue. However, after visiting your site, I see that you're using vBSEO on your site. We don't support the apps with vBSEO.

You can make these changes to see if it works better for you:

In your vbseo settings, you will need to add api.php to your exclude section.

          1) vBSEO CP -> General Settings -> vBSEO Options -> Exclude Pages.
          2) Add api.php
          3) Save your settings
          4) Edit the vBSEO .htaccess file to change:
          Code:
                RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(admincp/|modcp/|cron)
          to:
          Code:
                RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(admincp/|modcp/|cron|api\.php)
The above code may be in your .htaccess file twice.

            Thanks..

            1) vBSEO CP -> General Settings -> vBSEO Options -> Exclude Pages.
            2) Add api.php

THIS WAS ALREADY INCLUDED so... next part:

            Where is this file located:

/www/vbseo > then i have 2 folders includes or resources

/www/vbseo/includes has a .htaccess file but when i go to edit it all is see listed is "deny from all"

            /www/vbseo/resources has 5 folders > css / html / images / scripts / xml

/www/vbseo/resources/xml has a .htaccess file but when i go to edit it all is see listed is "deny from all"
/www/vbseo/resources/html has a .htaccess file but when i go to edit it all is see listed is "deny from all"

in the standard /www folder there is a .htaccess file and in that file it had:

            Line 33 RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(admincp/|modcp/|cron|vbseo_sitemap|api\.php)

so i changed it to this as requested:
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !(admincp/|modcp/|cron|api\.php) And we still have the Error... Connection Error Please try again later when you open the app and try to view the Activity / default loading page.

As this did not work i turned off vBSEO and tried the app again, and it was the same connection error on the Activity page.

            SUGGESTIONS PLEASE ??

The .htaccess should be in the root directory of your vBulletin installation. We actually can't provide support for vBSEO and I know nothing about the software. It isn't our product. The company that created it went out of business a couple of years ago so our recommendation is to actually uninstall it.

Do you have api logging turned on in your vBulletin settings? If not turn it on and use the app. Then look in the apilog table to see what is listed there.
