No Content/Tread Topics shown in iOS App

    Hi,
I created the mobile app. Android is working well
For iOS I created a adhoc develop distribution and I installed the IPA via itunes succesfully.

    The Login works.

The Activity Stream shows a error: "returned no results" (Filter is set to all)

If I click FOREN -> I am able to see the complete forum structure with alls categories and description. Also I can see how many topics and replies are inside an all details.
After click on the Categorie, I see a blank screen without content. I am able to post new Threads succesully. But these are also not shown in the iOS app (but in web you can see this new topic)

    Forum: www.My-TypeOne.de/forum

BTW: The avatar picture is also not shown in the profile settings.

    Who can help me?

Can you link me to your android app?
Or just try to make a new post (not reply) in your forum with it.

I'll be surprised if your android app is working. I doubt it is.

I recreated the iOS App and followed the complete process again. No succes.

BTW: The Facebook login also gives me an error: facebook_link:notice

As you can see I can't register for your forum by normal ways or Facebook app...crashes

          Try to browse around... Crashes.

This was tested on nexus 5 and nexus 6. These are stock.google reference devices.

Consider that your android app may not be working.

Take a look at my post history. Mobile suite is very broken with vB5. There is no communication and no timeline for fixing. See support post in my history and mobile forum. They don't know timeline for fix... Hell, most didn't even know how broken it is.

okay, android is opensource and it is possible to have issues with the many different devices and OS versions (a challange für vbulleint )

But IOS should working. The vbulletin Support Forum is also Version 5.1.5. And their App is working in my iphone - without any issues !!!!

Android is just barely open source when on a google authorized phone (access to google play services), but that's besides the point.
That is why I am testing on two plain stock reference devices released by google for this explicit purpose. One new and one that was released over a year ago.

It is not an android problem.

It is an VB5 API problem that is described in the tracker. This is why I was so sure your app would not be working at this time.

There are no examples of the current app working with vb5 on android. Not a single one. They all crash. Not just buggy, but fatal errors when doing basic forum functions.

Major issues with android variability have been minimized with google app design standards (which the app does not follow) on such a simple app as a forum reading app (take in database information, display text and images).

Your iOS should be working just like the android app SHOULD be working. It is unlikely to do so until vbulletin fixes the API problem (handled differently in vb5 vs vb4). You were sold a broken product. The delayed posting (show on PC not phone) is known and not fixed.

I'll be quiet now and let you keep exploring. You will eventually come to the same conclusion if you will check the mobile forum and the tracker.
