Your other reply regarding not receiving the mail got lost when the HD crashed yesterday. Can you reply to your ticket stating you never received the mail - it's currently assigned to the Mobile team so they'll get that reply and try sending again. Might want to ensure than internetbrands.com as well as vbulletin.com are allowed domains in your email whitelist.

Thanks. I also saw VBulletin's message for one on one conversations on how to improve Mobile Suite. It's great to see that and I've signed up to convey the feedbacks from our user's perspective as well as the owner's perspectiveComment

I am so silly. I still search the direct link to the last page in forum view.
However: When can we expect an updated version now, after vB5 Gold has been released. We are still urgently waiting with unsatisfied customers and very buggy versions out there since months.
Thank you for an update.

We have removed the expiration dates from mobile licences, you will not need to renew to get 1.4.
Sorry to be making light of it but it is exactly why we never give specific dates. Back in November I too would have bet money you'd see 1.4 "soon" but I would have lost f I did.

Now that the Mobile suite licenses don't expire (thank you Wayne and all the Support Staff) I can't really complain about the delay.
Edit: I see that as of yesterday there has been quite a bit of activity in JIRA for the mobile apps. Hopefully this signals that a release is coming soon.

As we stated previously, Mobile 1.4 may require API changes in 4.2.1 and 5.0.0. This is definitely the case now and so it is still being worked on. They are working to get it out as soon as possible.
Mobile Suite 1.X licenses no longer expire.

i have say i am also disappointed in the mobile apps. my users are not happy with either the andriod or iOS app. they would rather use facebook to post instead of my apps. i have an on line fishing site and also a facebook group which is 600 members strong. however, only about 100 have joined the forum. I am hearing complaints about the apps being to difficult i.e. too many steps involved for a member to post "hey look at my catch" with a picture. I have used both the driod and iPhone apps and have to agree. I would say Forum Runner is more user friendly with facebook or google+ being the most user friendly. I offer "my apps"free of charge and my users are relucant to pay for forum runner or i would promote that instead!
I noticed with the iOS app when you click on a picture to view it you are taken out of the app completely and your phones browser opens up. That means to the user has to exit out of the browers and re-enter into the app again....very bad programming right there I must say.
A single line view, more ease of posting of images and less crashing would be a start!
WHAT CHANGES ARE IN THE WORKS?????????????
