When will the next update to the mobile suit come? It's been over six months since the last update and there are a lot of issues that need to be fixed with the app

Trevor, VBulletin has been letting current VB license owners (specially VB4 license owners) down quite a bit - which I have 3 of. I understand you guys want to focus on VB5 but you've pushed too far. For whatever its worth VBulletin has lost my trust in getting reasonable support and updates.
As an example, I was about to buy the ForumRunner license. When I learned that it is a yearly license that puts my apps in the hands of VBullein (and at VBulletin's mercy) I decided against it.Comment

That has always been the case with forum runner. If you take a look at the forum runner, or have further questions please feel free to start threads over there, or send an email to sales / support @forumrunner.net and we'll do our best to assist you with your questions and or concerns.Comment

You guys should at least refund some of us. I've spent more than half my license waiting on bug fixes and receiving complaints from confused members. Truthfully, I look unprofessional releasing a product like this to my users. Lol... its a good thing I didn't charge my members for it. That would have ended badly.
When I asked for a refund the sales lady told me to kick rocks. My board: Auto Forum powered by vBulletin.Comment

It's almost nine months now since the last release. A bit long. I'm just waiting for the next version to be released before i renew my license, delay having to pay all that money for nothing. Also waiting for the push notifications that are advertised as part of the app.Comment

The best part is how VBulletin staff keep answering the side questions without every addressing the main issue which is how VBulletin has failed the mobile suite customers.Comment

We don't sell support for the mobile package. Also support personal are not developers, we can't fix problems in the app, which is why we ask you to report bugs in the tracker. We're sorry that fixes and improvements are not coming out fasterComment

I just wish I'd never bought it. It was a big factor in moving one of the largest sites I manage to another software platform.
Try explaining to users that you actually spent good money for software with such issues that go unresolved for months - makes you look damn stupid.Comment

i hear you on that. My forum's users have been complaining for the last 8 months about the bugs in the mobile app and every time I have to tell them that I wish I could pay someone to fix them but I can't. I'm at the mercy of VBulletin company and they are horrible at supporting their products.
well actually you can there is a Mobile API so you can pay a developer to make you your own custom app------------------------------------------

Hmmmmm. I wonder if that's against the TOS of the app when we bought it. Would you be interested in pulling some money together (maybe with few others) and improve the apps ourselves?Comment
