It has been 6 months since version 1.3 was released. Is there an eta of some sort?

That relates to the next generation - v2.0 - not 1.4. 1.4 is already far into development as can be seen from the links in this thread:

My prediction: There won't be a 1.4 once vb5 is released. Those who fell for the Mobile Suite BS, spent $$$ on not only the apps but purchasing numerous developer accounts will be kicked to the side. You'll be forced to use a half ass application such as forum runner, which you won't be able to brand your own which means no revenue unless you spam your users with ads. Customization on the fly? Kiss that goodbye. This whole thing started off well, yet ended up a total cluster *uck. I'm seriously considering pulling all of my apps because of the lack of quality and support. Buyer beware!!!Comment

Secondly, your prediction is wrong. 1.4 is well under development and while there is a delay with relevant changes in 4.2.1, more work is being done on 1.4 than originally planned meaning a better release than was previously envisaged.👍 1Comment

1.4 was reliant on changes made for 4.2.1 os the majority of 1.4 was held up pending those changes. Now that 1.4 is well underway, there may be further changes needed to the API in 4.2.1 so it's now also held up - they're reliant on each other.Comment

Firstly, stop with the attempts to circumvent the censor.

Thank you for the info. We currently use vB 4.2 with the mobile ap and it works great. Can you tell me how much longer vB4.x and the mobile ap will be developed? vB5.0 really does not fit our requirements today as we use the full vB4.x suite (CMS) as a blog, forum, and wiki site.
Thank you!
Expect an announcement on that nearer the time.Comment

I have a question for you guy's.
I have VB4 ver 4.2.0, need to update it.
Question is that 40% of my members are on mobile devices, should I upgrade to VB5, or should I buy the Mobile Suite?
There are many options such as 'Forum Runner' and I'm losing advertising from mobile devices everyday, my members are using the free mobile style with no ads at the moment.
I'm not to sure which direction to go in, I don't have money to keep upgrading all the time. I moved to VB4 in February and VB5 is now out. I thought asking people who have already experienced this would be my best option.
If a mobile phone or tablet visits the site, will it display the correct mobile page, or do they still have to select it from style? This is very important.
My advertising networks are Adsense and PostRelease.
Hope someone can help.Comment

If your main motivation is to make sure you have ads visible, you can either enable to built in mobile style and edit the templates, (style should auto-detect mobile devices if you have it configured right), or alternatively install a third party mobile style (I use one by Dartho, search for him on vbulletin.org). Again you can edit your ads into the mobile templates, and there's an "add-on to the add-on" for Dartho's style which detects mobile devices automatically.MARK.B
