New mobile suite 1.8: Does it work consistently with vB5 and can you style it easily?

I've seen the post about the latest release of mobile suite...I've noted that the reception hasn't been universally positive and those who have used it previously will have their own feelings about it; as I've never tried it I have an open mind.

Key questions:

- does it now work consistently with vB5 and android?
- does it now work consistently with vB5 and apple?
- with both platforms can you restyle it easily to your own custom style?

PS: I know that the calendar is presently absent from vB5, but it's there in vB4: Does the mobile suite also show the calendar and upcoming events beneath the forums?

Once you turn on the Mobile API in vBulletin 5, it will work. The Mobile Suite does not support the Calendar on vBulletin 4.

You can change the colors and images of the Mobile Apps. However since they are compiled apps installed on phones and not a style, you can't edit templates or add things to the system.
