Adwhirl has been shut down

I'm considering the mobile app for one of our websites and just got done reading the whole doc on how to set it up and such. In there, it talks about using adwhirl.com to handle all of your advertising needs. But, a quick search of google shows me that adwhirl has been shut down and replaced by admob. Does the suite still work with this? Or are there currently no other advertising options available?

Newer versions of the Mobile Apps use Google's Ad Network Mediation via Admob, Adwhirl's replacement.

Thanks. I was hoping that was the answer, but the documentation didn't give me any information about it.

Also, alot of the pre-sales questions I had were answered by the Mobile Suite doc, but it took me forever to locate the doc. It might be a good idea to either add more details to the mobile app page, or maybe even link to the doc. Would have definitely helped me!!
