Problems getting Mobile Style Premium to work

We recently downloaded Vbulletin 4.1.11 along with the Vbulletin Mobile Suite (Mobile Style Premium). We have had difficulty in getting the mobile style premium to upload correctly so that we can make edits to the mobile template style. We researched the forums and followed the instructions that SteveLV702 posted in the following post:

Although we were able to follow all of his directions, we are still unable to get this to work properly. Can somebody please help us with a step-by-step process for uploading the Mobile Style Premium OR if the directions given in the above link are correct help us troubleshoot our problem? Please let me know if you need more information. Thank you.

You no longer need the separate mobile style premium download with 4.1.11. Simply upgrade and 4.1.11 will install it automatically as the default mobile style.

I initially only uploaded the 4.1.11 to my site, however, we could not edit the style variables or colors, we could only change the image paths. So we figured we had to upload the mobile style premium separately. We tried that and nothing changed. To change the colors do we have to change the actual code of the template?

The mobile style only supports image path stylevars at this time.

To change the colors, you need to change the CSS in the jquery mobile directory at this time.

Location? Exact name of the file? I have changed every #111 I can find and everything is still blue.

The mobile style uses this as its primary CSS - clientscript/jquery/jquery.mobile-1.0.min.css

              It also uses these templates:
              • bbcode.css
              • editor.css
              • popupmenu.css
              • reset-fonts.css
              • vbulletin.css
              • vbulletin-chrome.css
              • vbulletin-formcontrols.css

Is this just the purchased product or the style that is included with the CMS product?

That is for the mobile style. As of 4.1.11, there is only one and it is included with the standard vBulletin download.

Do we need to upload all of the files in the upload directory or just what says "premium style"?

Upload the entire 4.1.12 package if you are performing an upgrade to the newest version.

Okay this might be part of my problem. I didn't realize that it was in that package until after I tried to add it, I thought because it was available to download in my members section I needed to download and install it if I chose to use it. So I guess what I need to know is what if you have to download in the members area is the current version included in the package and since I installed it I assume it overwrote whatever was in the installation, so... how do I fix this?

You can fix it by running upgrade.php which will reimport the master styles (standard and mobile) as part of its operation.

I've created a JIRA to have the Premium Mobile Style download link removed from the Member's Area to prevent confusion in the future.

Ok, just to be clear here. I'm upgrading from 4.1.10 to 4.2. In my Members download section vB4.2 is available as well as Premium Mobile Style. Am I to understand the mobile style files already in my 4.2 upload/install directory are as good as or better than the ones in the separate download even though they don't say "premium" in the file names? Yeah, it's confusing.

Yes. The separate download is not needed in 4.2.0.
