Updated vB and App stops working

As per the subject. Just upgraded to 3.8.7. PL2 from PL1 and the and App stopped working. Open it up and no threads / forums shown and it chucks you out.

People not already logged in can't log in.

Which app? Android or iPhone? I have a feeling vBulletin bit off more than they can chew with these apps. It doesn't make me feel good knowing the apps might break every time i update my forum.

well don't know about v3 tree but I just upgraded all my forums to v4.1.7 and my apps still work...

you probably need to upgrade the mobile APIpatch because there may a different version for PL2

there is a specific method to do it so that your API key does not change, hang on and I'll go find it...

if there is an updated patch for PL2:

Install the updated plugin first.
Download the new package from m.vbulletin.com ; overwrite the patched files, overwrite the api files; install new product
DO NOT UNINSTALL the existing vb api product3.

Doing this will ensure you don't create a new API key

or you could be like me and simply forgot to re-enable hooks in the config.php after the upgrade:
