I purchased the mobile suite app when it came out, has there been any updates to the software? if so, how do I update my app store app?

1.1.3 is in the process of final testing; it has much improved pagination and some bug fixes.

The app is usually rebuilt automatically for you; but to re-submit, you need to go into your mobile publisher, review and download the app and re-upload / re-sign into your apple itunes account.

since i installed it, it remains unchanged.sad that I spent $200+ dollars for an app that is severely lacking in features, performance, and functionality. for a mere $4.99 i installed tapatalk, awesome features, great interface, easy to update the forums. nuff said.

I also find the functionality of tapatalk mch better. This app is a waste of money. The features are worthless at best and for as much as we are charged, we should be able to customize the app and add our own functionality.

To be perfectly honest, there is a pretty HUGE price difference between vB mobile, and tapatalk (branded).

meaning, he is defending the fact that Tapaalk is far superior to mobile suite. He must have a vested interest in mobile suite to defend it. Don't get me wrong. I use VBulletin and i love the forum. I just think the mobile suite fell short in MANY areas. We are charged 200 bones to get it, while we can enable Tapatalk for free with far more functionality. I'm simply saying mobile suit needs some serious help and some dedicated developers behind it if they plan to have it compete with, well anything!

I also think once the mobile theme is released, the mobile suit subscription numbers will diminish.

If you want my honest opinion, Tapatalk (branded) is probably a far better solution than vBulletin mobile suite, however you're going to pay for its.
I'm not talking about the "free to you" tapatalk addon. The "free to you" plugin, collects data from your forum and makes your members pay for it, not to you but to the company who developed the plugin.
Compared to the vBulletin Mobile suite, which is branded and taiolred just for your forum. We're also not collecting your data from your forum for our own reasons.

Branded tapatalk is 1000 USD for the first app, and 1800 if you want two, plus 35/hour for customizations. The mobile theme has been out for months.

Edit, just to expand a bit. The difference between the vB mobile suite, and the Tapatalk mobile product (branded) is the difference between a nice camry and a nice BMW, there is a pretty large price difference. Functionally, they're both still cars. If our product was 1000 USD I would think that your comparsions would be much more fair.

What?!? I though that it was said that the 4.1.6 will be the likely release to include the mobile theme?

It will include the improved mobile theme, with support for the cms and blogs and a wider support for mobile/tablet browsers.
