Site turned off, Mobile suite still posting

Well title sums it up.

Site is turned off via CP, but I can post to it from the app on my iphone.

My iphone shows no messages about being off, or any restrictions for posting.

VB 4.1.4. patch 2
MobSuite: latest (app only created last week).

I don't have the mobile app for my own forums, but just a question:

The account you are logged into from your iPhone, is that the same administrative account you would normally use on the forum?

The reason I ask is that for administrators, the forum isn't really closed. We can still view and use the forum normally. We only know it is close by the big red notice saying that the forums are turned off.

I would assume that the access rights would be the same with the mobile application. So, if you're logged in with an admin account, try it on a normal user's account to see what you get.

Yes, of course, makes perfect sense. I'm just used to seeing something that says they are turned off.
