I updated to 3.8.7 PL2 on Tuesday of this week, then I uploaded the patch files from the mobile api version 1.1. After I had upgraded I launched my mobile app on my iPhone and did some minimal testing, still seemed to be functioning fine.
I started getting reports this morning that the apps hadn't been working since that day.
Sure enough, if I logged out I couldn't log back in and couldn't get data beyond the initial screen of "Newest" posts.
So I once again uploaded the mobile api patch files over the existing ones and still the mobile app was not working. I uninstalled the API and installed mobile api 1.2 and now realized I may have made a big mistake. I needed to generate a new API key. OOPS! Now I need to republish my mobile apps, correct?
