App tested and works but iTunes won't accept

Now that I finally have a working app iTunes won't accept because of the version number.

    See bug tracker:
mark each build with the version numer and the timestamp

So I'm still stuck with an app on iTunes that doesn't work.

EDIT: Problem solved with fix: http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBM-1344

Could you please start your own bug report on this? Thanks.

Why should another bug be submitted when one already exists? I think there should be dedicated support staff exclusively for the apps monitoring the forums. It might help answer questions better. The bug tracker is not a substitute for customer support.

I'm trying to help. You say that the normal instructions do not work for you. In this case you really do need to fill out your own bug report on this. There is nothing we can do about this via the support forums or tickets.

If that is not the case, then I really don't understand what the issue is. You can try clarifying.

I'm in the same boat man...the whole version number with mobile suite is jacked. They need a field in the build phase of the customer area to allow you to change your own version. What's wrong with that?

I hardly call this a fix...but you sir...are a gentleman and a scholar. It's amazing to me why no support ticket provided these details.
              Thank you sir.

We've asked for instructions on this previously to aid support but hadn't received it. The Bug goes straight to the Devs and now that they've provided the fix, we'll know it too!
