Hi there. I had problems with uploading the APIpatch included in '' do not upload " folder in the Vbulletin mobile suite. After I uploaded it to my server , my site is no longer running, only a page said "error blah blah" in a short setence remains. Could anyone tell eme what gives? Besides, in the apipatch folder there are various folders named in numbers from 375-387 which should correspond with my installed VB version, my VB is 4.1.3, the latest one in the apipatch folder is 3.8.7. Not compatible at all. Could anybody tell me how to install the mobile suite to my forum? Thanks

The mobile suite is a newly released application , it has to be compatible with the latest VB version. If only 3.8.7 and below works with mobile suite , will that mean I have to downgrade my VB version? That dun make anmy sense thoe . wierd !Any one can help? ThanksComment

That file is only needed for 3.8.7. If you are running vB4, ignore it.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Thanks Steve, I already ignored but it did not go thru when I tried to set up thru the member area . After putting in the API key and forum URL , I was told my site was o an older version but my site is on 4.1.3 and I already uploaded files included in upload folder of the mobile suite and adapted vb API & mobile application options

Sounds like you uploaded some of the vb3 api files, which will have over-written your vb4 versions.
Re-upload all your vb4 files, and make sure you uninstall the vb3 api product if you installed it.
vb 4.1.3 comes with the API, no need to install anything else extra.Baby, I was born this wayComment
