Show specific forums on your mobile site?

Is there a way to only show specific forums on your mobile app? ie. I have a forum with RSS feeds, and do not want them to show up on my new threads list...

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

The API has the following option ;

Mobile App Home: Forum Threads Forums Limit
You can choose to display threads in specific forums in TOP/NEW section on the Home page of mobile application. Separate forum IDs by comma.
Example setting: 10,25,30

Shouldn't the app and forum utilize some sort of Mobile App Usergroup so things like mobile access and permissions can be controlled by admins?
In other words, the app should use permissions set up in a new default Mobile App Usergroup in the AdminCP.

trying to do the same thing here. however I can not locate where to do this.

Is it on the phone itself or the api in the forums. I must be getting old here.
