Why are photos/attachments not displayed inside the app? Even the $5 tapatalk app has pics load within the app, is there a way to enable this feature?

Also, there needs to be a better way to refresh the screen other than going back , then reloading the page, this apps needs work. I was expecting for the price, this app would surpass the cheaper $4 app, but that's not the case. In the other forum app, there's moderation tools, in app picture loading, pull down to refresh the screen, and a fast UI. why does this app not surpass the cheaper one? is this app not finished? -
I'm wondering the same thing. I paid $175 to renew my vbulletin in order to even have a valid version compatible with the mobile app. The mobile app cost me $99, plus $25 to Google, and $99 plus tax to Apple. All told, I spent over $400 to make mobile browsing work. This is not good.Comment

pretty sad that a $5 app outshines this very expensive app in every way possible. it's ease of use, functionality, performance. I'm wondering if any of the vbulletin team members will shine in on this or just leave it here without answering any of these questions.
is the app going to get an update to allow for a manual refresh?
will the software be made to allow for in app picture viewing?
Moderation tools added?Comment

Hi pumarjr,
I was hesitant to respond to this thread, since I wasn't exactly sure which photo functionality to which you were referring. The current release of the Android app has Photos functionality, which closely follows the web albums interface. Additionally, photo attachments to posts (and blogs and articles) should be working in single post view mode, accessed by clicking on the post in the thread. In this single post view mode, there should also be any inline images displayed.
You may be referring to bbcode images in the thread view, which we currently do not support in the release that is live. The good news is that we have added this functionality to the upcoming 1.1 release!
Any other places in the app that you feel should have image support and do not is an opportunity for you to open an improvement request.
Thanks for your support!
