When you log on to your forums via the Mobile Suite, how does the suite determine what appears on the "Newest" section on the home page? It doesn't seem to look like "What's New" or the newest posts of the day.
How Is "Newest" on the Front Page Set Up?

Actually it does looks for the newest posts.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

That depends on the read marking type you have set here:

I'm not sure it's working as designed tbh. Said it before but here's a pic.
Look at the newest thread on the unfiltered list and compare it to the first on the filtered side. The front page unfiltered is showing much older stuff.
I think this is where the confusion is from. It certainly confuses me and I mentioned it in the feedback thread in lic.cust.Comment

go to another page then go back and they should be refreshed. i think if you filter for blogs(or anything else) then go back to filtering for forums it'll update too. neither is ideal obviously but it's early daysComment

This forum uses the database marking system. Threads will remain unread until you read the new posts in them.Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)

Steve, that's not the point. if you have a list of all new content then you filter out all content except threads the thread should still be in the same order. e.g.
t1
t2
b1
t3
b2
a1
t4
filtered should be
t1
t2
t3
t4
i didn't read any threads between the two pics and the threads aren't the same - look at the pics closely and the timesComment

i'll check this thread in the morning when i'm not on the mobile and might have a go then - tbh i'm not sure what the functionality of the front page of the app is supposed to do so it's hard to know if it's working as designed or not.Comment
