I have registered with a few different email addresses and I have not received a verification email for any of them. Anyone else having any issues?

Can I create the app and add the ads in later?

Yes would require recompiling the app and then submitting it to Android/Apple as a Upgrade....

Their FAQ says if you don't receive a verification mail, try signing up again....

i even tried with 2 different email address and never received an email at both lol. and i checked spam folder at both

seems like they have a problem on there end

i would advise we all just email them [email protected] and hopefully they will fix it soon


this really is an epic fail by adwhirl it should be so easy for this to work. very dissapointed in adwhirl so far.

if worst case adwhirl doesn't correct the problem is there some other easy method to get adsense ads in vbulletin mobile suite?

still no solution here. I am losing confidence in this adwhirl.

I would pose the following question: how can one trust that their ad service will work properly when the account registration doesn't even work?

this is simply unacceptable. no excuse for adwhirl. i just tried yahoo, hushmail, and aol email addresses. never get the activation email at any 3 of them. unbelievably poor service. we need another option besides adwhirl for ads. i bought this product hoping to be able to display ads but it looks like that woln't happen thanks to adwhirl.

I tried email Justin for him to manually activate my account but no luck with that, his email got bounced as the address doesn't exist anymore


lessons to be learned

1) it is embarrassing to release a product that doesn't work. no excuse.
2) account registration should work easily every single time no matter what type of application it is. this should be so easy.
3) this is downright embarrassing
4) vbulletin shouldn't rely solely on adwhirl for the ad integration since they are obviously having problems. there needs to be an option to display ads that doesn't rely on them, otherwise i have no use for this product and will want a refund
5) do some research on the IP addresses you acquire to make sure they don't have a history of spam with them. this applies to both adwhirl and vbulletin forum owners. email needs to work every single time. don't shoot yourself in the foot by inheriting IPs with a bad history of spam

it is a serious downfall for vbulletin to need to depend on adwhirl for displaying ads

any chance mobile suite can be reprogrammed to not depend on adwhirl? shouldn't displaying ads be as simple as copying and pasting javascript somewhere? there needs to be a feature here that doesn't depend on adwhirl

please make it possible for mobile suite users to show ads without this adwhirl

As for working in a solution for incorporating mobile ads without utilizing Adwhirl - we considered it, however the available solutions would be too restrictive or complex, Adwhirl is great in that you can serve ads from many partners easily.

adwhirl doesn't work as of now so unless they can fix their problems i think we need a simple option of copying and pasting javascript where u want the ads to be. need to keep things simple here.

as of now i have absolutely zero confidence in adwhirl. sending activation emails is programming 101 and to be honest its embarrassing they can't get this working.

i'll keep waiting for a response from adwhirl but im going to want a refund if this can't be figured out

Same problem here, pretty annoying! I paid the $99 and can't get what was advertised. I know it's not vBulletins fault at all though, they delivered what they promised. The ads are a bonus. Good work VB, looking forward to AdWhirl fixing their issues.

100% agreed Mike and Bergler. I paid $99 and I'm not getting what was advertised to me. My time is being wasted too and time is money.

I asked 5 of my friends to try registering. All five never received the email.

vbulletin needs to stop using adwhirl and just have a simple feature where we can copy and paste the javascript code for showing our ads. This dependency on adwhirl creates failures like this.

This does not follow the KISS principle of keeping things simple. This should be so easy to just work. There is no excuse for this.

I except things to "work", that is all I ask.

Right now time is ticking and solutions are not happening.

My ads are working


vBulletin advertised Mobile Suite and they delivered it. its not their fault that adwhirl.com (just a added benefit to the Mobile Suite) isn't working... It was working when Mobile Suite launched.. I signed up and sure alot of others were able to signup also...


So instead of posting about the issue on here should contact adwhirl about their problems...
