It allows you to create iPhone apps on the PC. Has anyone tried this yet?

There is a free version for iPhone users.

Just a note that, you still need to have Xcode installed to sign and upload Apps to the Apple App Store. Xcode requires Mac OSX 10.6 or higher to run.

Any suggestions for a good guide to doing this? I have VMware and will get a legit OSX copy, I just don't want to go the route of buying a Mac as I don't do graphics and they don't do what I need from a PC.

Thanks. I've got a copy of snowleapord ordered that should arrive from Amazon on Saturday and have instructions for both a vMware install (what I will probably try first) and some instructions that might work on an older core2-duo laptop I have laying around.

Ok, I've successfully installed Snow Leopard in VMware. I'm downloading the 10.6.7 update now, and then I will try and install xCode and whatever else is required for vB Mobile.

I've only used a Mac a few times at work, so I'm going to be muddling through for a bit as I get used to the Mac OS.
