Hello Jerry,I am writing an ImpEx system to import subdreamer2 into vb4 publishing suite for my client .It is almost done, but I still have not found the benefit of passing arguments by references in all of impex systems I have taken a look at.In my understanding, I would prefer passing by values which is the default way of PHP. Could you give some explanation of why arguments have to be passed by references? Or is this just a 'legacy' in some way?
