Wordpress importer?

I have 3-4 wordpress blogs that I'd like to import to vbulletin forums (I do not own the suite, only the Forum Classic). I'd like it if the Category, Post's, Comment's and Tag's, User's, Admins & Authors can be imported. Thanks. I've seen that the latest update for wordpress was for 2.9.1.

I'm using Wordpress 3.3 on my wordpress blogs.. will there be issues if I try to import now?

It's going to have quite a bit to import too. (over 30,000 posts & 150,000 comments)

Also alot of posts use youtube videos like this. Will the importer have trouble with that?

Our importer only supports importing Wordpress posts into the CMS. I don't a big problem using it on the 3.3 wordpress as the database structure hasn't really changed much since 2.9.1 but you would need the Suite.

No way to import, I tried, either to CMS or blog, I think it`s really the time for the impex developer to take a look at this, I found i`m not alone to meet this problem when searching around. I submit ticket and support staff said he will try to get the developer to take a look, for the importing, I`v been waiting for 20 days. if I would have known this, I wouldn`t upgrade from class to suite.

Has it been entered into JIRA? Even we can't get developers to look at most things without entering them into JIRA.

I have the publishing suite and was hoping to pull my Wordpress blog in along with my older forum. Is there any change of a Wordpress 3.3.1 importer for the Blog section? It wouldn't make sense to import the blog entries into the CMS section for me..

The import from WP 3.3.1 to the blog seems to work until the last step but the errors flash so quickly I missed them the first time. Lots of :

"Invalid, skipping. Failed on : pagetext
Invalid, skipping. Failed on : postedby_userid"

Is there a chance? Yes. I don't have a timeline though. They are currently evaluating what modules to update in ImpEx. I recommend that you post this in JIRA or vote on a pre-existing issue to make sure your voice is heard.

Thanks Wayne, I appreciate the pointer there. I'm very shocked that only 3 people have voted so far. I would think that a Wordpress importer would be one of the most highly demanded of the bunch!
