    Imported users cannot do password reset (no email received)

    I migrated my old kunena (fireboard) 1.0.4 to Vbulletin 4.2.0. Import was successful. However, imported users (already moved to Registered usergroup) cannot reset their password since they don't receive any emails after performing the reset password via Forget Password Link. Weird thing is, the Admin (userid 1) as well as those newly registered users after the migration can receive anl when performing a reset password. BTW all email addresses are updated and working. Any help on this would be awesome.

    If you enable email logging in:

    AdminCP > Settings > Options > Error Handling & Logging

    Do the emails for these users appear in the email log file you setup?
    Vote for:

    - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
    - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

      I found out the error. System sends emails fine. It's just not sending emails to users with @mydomain.com email addresses. Reason is, I'm using gmail custom domain as my site's email so mx entries are with google. Unfortunately, my hosting doesn't allow email relaying. Any other solution to that?

        I know I have no problem sending mail from a standard gmail account, if you wanted to use that instead of your custom domain.
