    Joomla to vBulletin suite?

I am converting a Joomla 1.5 board to vBulletin 4.0.6.

Problem i am having is that i only have 4 modules to run:

001: check and update database 'which works'
    002: Associate users
    003: Import User 'which works'
    004: Import article

How do i also import the forums/threads/posts??

You will need to do that as a second import to 'vBulletin 4.0.*' system from the second dropdown. It's a separate module to the CMS importer to import those.

    - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
    - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

Thanks for your message. I've just tried out to find a solution importing joomla to vB.

Is it still incomplete? How incomplete is it?

tried this today for cms import. Users import but articles do not. Seems to work through item #3 but fails without any error warnings on #4 "IMPORT CMS ARTICLE." All that is briefly displayed is "Importing 0 Nodes" But nothing imports.

I'm trying this with Joomla 1.5 but the current long term release is Joomla 2.5 and Joomla is currently in 3.0 with the next LTR (3.5) to come out summer of 2013. So Impex is way behind for Joomla, the second most popular CMS (in terms of the number of sites it powers) to WordPress. "Fireboard" which is a forum that runs on Joomla is abandonware, and has not been supported for years now. It was replaced by Kunena. The original Kunena was based entirely upon Fireboard but the current Kunena is very different. The codebase is very much changed but the database structure is still largely similar. I was able to hack some of the Fireboard impex to use with Kunena 2 but even so still losing about 30% of forum posts. Kunena is a distant third to phpbb and smf but aside from those is in much wider use as a forum than almost all of the other Impex supported forum importers but for whatever reason vbulletin has not given much support to anything Joomla for Impex.
