Since Jerry's forum profile shows that he hasn't logged in since April 13th, I assume he no longer works for VB. Who is the current developer assigned to impex and how can we contact him/her since this module has been unacceptably neglected for far too long now?

According to his profile he still is ImpEx Developer.

I still am, I just do all the support via the official support system opposed to the public forms.

I gave up, though, since my support ticket went stale months ago. Is it worth me downloading a fresh copy of impex to try again, or has nothing changed?

Jerry, can you confirm that you can use vBulletin ImpEx to import from vBulletin 4 to vBulletin 3 as a downgrade solution?
