You have phpbb installed on your current webhost right?

Thats a problem, you need to have the phpbb database on your current webhost to import the data.

You need to get a backup of your phpbb database, and restore it to your current webhost.

erm... where can i know where the back up data base at? i can only the the back up but there no way to get the back up data.. can anyone using phpbb to guide?

have read some of the user in their forum see this.

"You cannot access your forum's database no matter what!

Your data base is OWNED (and so is your forum) by ForuMotion, and they have clearly stated (in the ToS) that you will not be able to access your database.

Your forum is as private as my public one"

                  And

                  "
I think a lot of people join forumotion with that idea, but it is not the case...
If you wish to start somewhere else, V-Bulletin for eg; you'd have to start from scratch again.

How ever, even doing that is okay, because you would have already grown a member base to do it anyhow. You may not get to take all your posts with you, but you can have fun starting from scratch, with all the things you have learnt along the way, whilst using Forumotion."

ForuMotion as I understand it is a hosted solution, so you'll have to negotiate with them to get your data.
