Missing posts after certain date

I've done the importing and the forum is working alright (apart from the 1/1/1970 bug) except that my threads aren't all there.

I have, approximately, all posts before august 2006 yet anything newer isn't on the forum at all. Has anyone had this same problem?

My worse case scenario is that I will clean the forum off and do a clean install/import but I'd prefer to find a way around it..

Try rebuilding the thread and forum counters in that order:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Update Counters

I did that Its how I got rid of the 1970's posts :P

My main thought right now, since I'm at work and I can't do so much till I get home, is that my original database from SMF wasn't quite all there.. I was thinking about doing the maintenance like I forgot to on the forum and then do this all again..

As an addition, after some reading about missing posts.. I decided to see what the difference was, incase they were hidden but they aren't..

I have lost 992 posts, 85 topics.

So far from the looks of it I will try and do a clean install, crossed fingers, when I get home from work and if it doesn't work then, then I will reply here again since I'm eager for my licence to be fully up and running.. It was a push getting it (financially) and I just need to get over this hump..

Check your child boards. I lost mine.
You have to move your child boards to be parents then reimport the boards, posts etc. then recount everything.
