Admin rights for user

3 issues with my import:


1. After I am done with the import, all user are in the Imported usergroup. I move all of them to Registered and its fine. Now apart from the original "administrator" username setup during VB installation, I added another username to the Administrators usergroup. But when I log in, that username can access the admincp but only limited access to

- Announcements
- Moderation
- Statistics & Logs

My Administrators usergroup is set up properly and have no problems with the "administrator" username.


2. Avatars are not imported although I have entered the full path and have web access.

3. All signatures with BBcode are now changed to hyperlinks instead or images showing up.

Any advise appreciated

What system are you importing from ?

MarcoH64: I tried to access it, but it says only superadministrators allowed, so I edited the includes/config.php file for access using my userid ($superadministrators = '1', but it still restricts access.

Jerry: I was importing from phpbb 2.0.13

Regarding the 3rd point, I was able to get images to show now, by enabling the
"Allow [IMG] Code in Signatures" in VB options


I have found another issue. When I go to Forum Manager and add a user as a Moderator, even when I set all the options to yes, he is still unable to moderate that forum even though he is under the Moderators usergroup, except his own posts.

Well has to be permissioins by the looks of it.

Have you checked all the forum permissions as well as the users and the usergroups ?

You are right!

The permissions I set is for the the Parent Category and it doesn't apply to child forums. Now after I assign Mod to individual forums, it is working.
