Don't worry, I think I have figured it out...I will let you know how I did it...

Censored***.

I have tried so many different ways and it just won't import that 1 forums threads...any ideas?

yeah, there a forum_info.txt file in one of the folders that I also needed to reflect changing those other folder....

I've almost got it working - The only problem I have now, is that one (and it is the most important forum!) is only bringing in threads from 06-21-2004. I checked all my files and it appeared that alot hadn't FTP'ed properly. I have to now download over 21,000 files from his main server again....it takes over 3 hours to do that!!! grrrrrrrrrr.

          OK Jerry,

I am having abig problem here. the script only imorts:

          Showing threads 1 to 25 of 3666

The number 3666 does seen a little coincidental?

FTP for that number of single files is going to be a nightmare, can't you TAR them before moving them all ?

Though are they all there ? Sounds like its dumping a lot of threads into 1 forum ?

              Hey jerry,

I have now started tar'ing them up and it's making this easeir.

I think where the problem comes it if the actual DCforum Database.txt file is not been read correctly because it's getting confused with the arc_database.txt file...does that make sense?

I tried to merge them with not luck.

I think the importer is geeting confused because all the forum folder names are DCForumID* etc, but the one forum that is causing problems and not importing all the threads is called something totally different e.g. censored01

In order for this forum to import at all, I had to name that folder DCForumID1. Then the import eventually imports it, but only threads up to july 2004, all other threads from that date to current (02-04-05) date refuse to update. I have deduced that those missing threads are in the database.txt file....

I just don't know want to do....

To be honest I'm going to have to see this one in action, i.e. do the import on a dev server so I can see the debug. Can you start a support ticket and we'll take it from there.
