    vb3 to vb3 / double transfers

    Hello,

I'm getting lots of double transfers:

    all forums transferred 2 x
    some users transferred 2 x
    some posts transferred 2 x
    some threads transferred 2 x
    some attachments transferred 2 x

i've tried this 6-7 times now, and it doesn't work out.. any ideas ?

    regards Allan

Do you single click or double click on the module buttons? (just checking)

What vb version is the source and what vb version is the target?
When you try again, do you clear the import tables first?

both installations are vb 3.0.3 - the only difference is the templates/style, table prefix and location (same domain).. i have tried now xxxx times, the same result every time..

would it be possibe to just copy the tables directly (except design) from one to the other since the new installation is totally empty ?

Sorry, I really don't know why you would be having this problem. Since the new installation is empyt, why don't you just point it to the database in config.php? There really is no reason to import.

Why don't you upgrade, then remove the data you don't want?
