Per docs, via admincp/Import and Export, running ImpExConfig.php I "immediately" get the error.

Well Did you install vB3 with a table prefix? if so did you make sure to enter the table prefix into the impex config?

Yes, but for the Source (IPB) I left the table prefix blank not knowing (it was installed by Cpanel/Fantastico).

I don't need users imported, only Forums and Messages (I wish users to have to re-register).

As long as im reading this correctly, ImpEx cannot find your datastore table (default name)

The [ Target Database ] settings should be identicle to your vb config file

typo... Now I got to the first menu, and the First option went well showing all okay. Then, on the second option to import Groups, I get an error. I cannot go back or forward in executing the scripts now... I get the following:

hmm, are you sure that the IPB database doesnt have a tableprefix?

use phpmyadmin and see if there is somthing before each table that is the same.

Yes, it has the prefix of: ibf

Now, I get the following.

If I try to get a menu again, I only get a blank page with the exception of the Copyright footer.

I changed the prefix to "ibf_" (no quotes) but I still only get the \blank page when initiating the Import/Export.

I dare say that the session is broken after that may miss starts, run this SQL against the vB database to clear it :

DELETE FROM datastore WHERE title='ImpExSession';

Within all of the imported threads, the posts are all dated 12-31-1969 11:00 PM. Can this be corrected?
