Did you edit the Impex config file with your database info?

I deleted it and then re-uploaded it and finally it seemed to work until I clicked on the first one and got this:

Warning: mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/pam/public_html/forums/impex/db_mysql.php on line 220

            Hello???

...could we please get an answer to this (Erika is helping me install vBulletin) and we've been waiting for several hours now...

We would really like to get our phpbb files imported to vBulletin tonight!

            Thank you!

Unfortunately, one person can really give you an answer right now on this issue and if he had it or had seen this he would have answered it.

If you need faster service, you need to open a support ticket through official channels. It will then be assigned to the person who can help and he can provide and answer.

The entire IMPEX directory including its subdirectories should be uploaded to the AdminCP.

If I upload the impex file to /admincp, there is no Import/Export option in the ACP. If I upload it to /forums it does show up but doesn't work.

What am I supposed to do?

                    Try this thread here: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101791

It might solve your problem with the database error.

I'm getting exactly what that guy was getting except it is already set to "true".

                      Any other suggestions?

                          Not yet, no.

I got an email (from you I believe) asking if:

                          $sourceexsists = true

is set in ImpExConfig.php....and YES it is!

                          Anything else we can try?

                          Please help!!! Thank you!

Is the database you are trying to connect to, the source, on the same server.
