The focus of the importer dev is on bug fixing the current importers and ImpEx (missing functionality) before releasing anymore.
There are 23 in total now with the ones still in dev, and 2 unofficial ones I know about.Comment

Glad to see you back, Jerry. You were gone for about 5 weeks, so I was begenning to wonder if you were ever coming back. I am anxios for the vB 2 importer to be officially released, as I understand there are some bugs, and my client is not interested in upgrading until it's final.Comment

The vB2->vB3 importer is for special cases.Comment

I am well aware of the differences between a import and an upgrade. But I think you need to give the customer what they want. Let them decide which route they want to take to use new software. There are some circumstances where an upgrade is just not possible. Such is the case with very large forums, with databases in the 50 gigabyte range.Comment
