I lease my own server. When I go into the AdminCP and go to the Facebook setup it says "Supported". I have a self-signed cert installed, but not a purchased cert, like GEO. Will this still work, or will FB require be to purchase and install and store-bought security Cert?

What you see in the AdminCP refers to Facebook Connect support.

Shared SSL won't normally work but it shouldn't cost too much to get a domain/IP specific certificate for use on your site.Comment
