I've set up and paid for a SSL certificate, bought the Facebook App software, upgraded to 4.167 and have spent a long time setting this up and configuring it making sure it's all correct yet still all I am getting is an 'Internal Server Error' every time I try and load the app. I feel like I've wasted $99 on the software and $50 on the SSL - Can anyone help?

There are other threads on this here - this issue is being investigated and a fix will be coming -
It's still not working - I've complained / raised a ticket about getting a refund for buying software which clearly doesn't work but still had no response.
very disappointed and I would recommend to anyone not to purchase the FB app certainly until they've got something working.Comment

I am looking forward for the fix real soon. Just a little frustrated else I am very much satisfied with the on-going development from vBulletin regards to social media.Comment

Republish and download the app again. There were several fixes made to the publisher to help alleviate these issues.Translations provided by Google.

Hi Wayne,
Still doesn't work for me. Internal server error. I have submitted a ticket. I am using a different host but same domain name, just that the A record is pointing to a new host. Will this configuration works?
main forum: http://www.123.com
app site: https://fb.123.com
Also, regarding the Facebook App IP, should I put my subdomain IP (fb.123.com) or the main forum IP (www.123.com) since both are different hosts?

Alright guys,
Interestingly, I found something in my error log on the main forum where the database is kept:
[17-Nov-2011 11:22:20] Unknown algorithm. Expected HMAC-SHA256
[17-Nov-2011 11:22:20] Unknown algorithm. Expected HMAC-SHA256
I suspect this has something to do with Facebook authentication or api.Comment

Well I still haven't had a response ( Ticket raised November 15th) from vBulletin about this 'faulty' software I purchased which never worked.
I have now raised a dispute with Paypal for a full refund, I would recommend anyone else who is in a similar situation and not satisfied does the same - As for Vbulletin - Your customer service is appalling.Comment

Come on vBulletin. If you release a new product you should be ready to support it. This is getting ridiculous.Comment

Actually about 90% of the issues with the Facebook App are due to server configuration issues and third-party addons. Addons that do rewrites like vBSEO being the biggest culprit of issues. The level of support for a beta product is beyond what we've given in the past though.Translations provided by Google.

Wayne - I understand that, but support should be able to figure out what the problem is and at least tell the customer what to do. I just figured out the problem to a month old support ticket that had to do with stock vbulletin settings. Granted the problem was my fault, support wasn't even close to figuring out what it was.
Furthermore, the ticket was last responded to almost 2 weeks ago. I completely understand that this is a new beta product that support doesn't know well yet, but that's negated by the fact that they've been so unresponsive. My site was logged into once in the last month and all that was done is look at the API key. At least if some work was put into my issue I wouldn't be so frustrated. I'm sure the other above feel the same if not more frustration.Comment
