How did you secure the directory where the FB files are?
      Vote for:

      - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
      - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

In your Facebook Developer account, check the app- what is the Canvas URL you have?

If you go to it in your browser do you get any type of error? What happens when you try to browse it?

Canvas url = boxingforum/myfacebookapp/ (it wont let me post the whole link but it has all the http:// etc..)

              The url says
              Not Found

The requested URL /boxingforum/myfacebookapp/ was not found on this server.

Cans URL should start with https://

If file not found, that is the problem, either the files were moved/deleted or the URL is wrong. Can you verify by FTP the files exist?

I only added them as boxingforum/myfacebookapp as it would let me post the full url on this forum. the url does contain the https:// in Facebook)

The files do exist on the server,

Well if you get the error "Not Found The requested URL /boxingforum/myfacebookapp/ was not found on this server." when you browse the URL then either the files don't exists or https requests are being re-directed to a different directory. If you can confirm the files exist in the correct location then the https pointing to the wrong folder is the issue- You would need to contact your host or whoever setup your https to get it pointed to the correct place, or move the files to wherever it points now.
