Limit search?

Hey all!

I tried searching but couldn't find anything. I want to disable search for my huge archives except for paying members. Even though I set the forum permissions for each usergroup to "No" for this feature, they can still do it. What am I doing wrong?

I do use "Threadloom" but not sure if that's the problem?

Not sure what Threadloom is, but if you have replaced the default search engine with anything then that permission will not work.

You'll probably have to manually edit templates that show a search interface and use vb:if conditionals to restrict its rendering to a specific usergroup.
