Ok, I just converted my site (version 4.2.5) to use HTTPS in the URL instead of HTTP. Everything seems to work, but I do have one issue that I'm hoping someone can help me resolve.
When I go to my site, read posts, etc., the URL is always HTTPS now, as it should be and I get the little "lock" icon in the browser address window. However, if I do anything that involves the editor (Posting new topic, adding new article, etc), the little padlock disappears from the address bar in the browser. For example, if I start a new topic and use the WYSIWYG editor, then the lock is not there. However, if I click into the browser address bar, it still shows that I'm connected with HTTPS but there just isn't any lock. From some research I've done, I "think" this may have something to do with AJAX that is used by the editor ? (Note, if I go to settings and select to use the "Basic" Editor then the lock still appears).
Does anyone know of a possible solution or suggestions for this issue? Thanks in advance.
