    Internal Server Error 500

    I upgraded yesterday my forum from 4.2.3 to 4.2.5 but now it gives an error, my current php version is 5.6 stable.

    We would need to know that the error is. This should be in your server error logs. Ask your host if unsure.

        Rename your current .htaccess file as .htaccess.bak and try again.

        If that works, post the contents of the .haccess.bak file to see what you need. Actually, do that anyway.

              One or more of your directories is password protected.

              If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, submit a tech support ticket to ask your host to remove the password protection entirely from your site.

                Yesterday night after upgrade it was working perfeclty.

                Possible to say definitely problem interested hosting conpany..

                  Well I can't tell you what happened between yesterday and today but the error log is telling you it can't open the password file for protected directories so that's your starting point.

                    I just completed upgraded. After upgraded pictures and logo wasnot showing and I empty .htaccess . After that I control many times and , this morning was not up.

                      Your hosting provider would be the best suited to help with this issue. The files being referenced are not vBulletin files.
