Friends And Contacts list in usercp

What is the actual message telling them they can't view page 2 onwards?

It seems, after further investigation that we all have the same problem....

Access to Friends & Contacts, certainly from User, has two pathways.

....../member.php?xxxx-username#friends-content >>>This gives a list, but pages 2 onwards are denied access to everyone - even Admin.
...../profile.php?do=buddylist>>>Gives access to all pages - but by default this is an edit function for the list.

At least two members have commented they can only view page 1 of their respective Friends & Contacts List - one of these is my fellow Admin and he says he had the same problem in vB3! For myself, I have no problem displaying all my friends/contacts.
If they try to move to other pages the display refreshes back to page 1, or they get a refused access message.

Has anyone seen anything similar and can suggest a reason/solution. It's obviously not a serious issue.
