    Search Issue

    I have vBulletin 4.2.4 version

Search was working perfect, but suddenly the search on the forum stop working at all giving zero results after a search was done

So, a cache reset was done and after some hours the search started to work again but giving limited results, for example, if you search for ''madonna'' it give you 150 results, but there are more than 300 results in the data base

    Please help

You will most likely need to rebuild your search index. This can be done via searchindex.php in your do_not_upload file or in the AdminCP under Maintenance -> General Update Tools.

Results are also limited to the value set in the AdminCP under Settings -> Options -> Message Searching Options.

We would need to know what the full database error is.
